Anesthesiology and reanimation brings together two closely linked fields: keeping patients comfortable and safe during surgery and other procedures, and supporting vital functions in intensive care. Specialists complete six years of medical school followed by five years of dedicated training. Their role continues after surgery, with careful pain management during the first hours of recovery.
